This speech-language pathology assignment serves a vibrant, supportive district consisting of 16 sites and approximately 7,000 students. You'll impact students in grades K-8 within a mild-moderate classroom setting, supporting a manageable caseload of 40-50 at a single site. Both experienced clinicians and enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply—this welcoming team values a variety of backgrounds and skills.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Ability to secure or actively in process of obtaining Colorado Department of Education credentials
- Passion for providing high-quality, student-centered services in a school environment
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Relocation readiness (for travel candidates)
- New graduates encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students in K-8 with varying communication needs
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and allied professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP and staff meetings
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school climate
