Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Aurora, CO
Two Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed for contract roles in Aurora, CO, within a school setting. Both positions require candidates to have active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Position Details:
- Elementary School SLP: 15 hours per week across 2 days
- Pre-Kindergarten SLP: 11.25 hours per week across 1.5 days
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active CDE licensure
- ASHA CCC credential
- Experience working in school settings with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with speech and language assessment and intervention in educational contexts
- Ability to deliver teletherapy services is a plus but not required
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ communication needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students’ progress
- Implement therapy sessions targeting speech, language, fluency, and related communication disorders
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines
