Pediatric School Speech Therapist | Colorado Springs, Colorado
Seeking an engaging and committed professional to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment near Colorado Springs, CO. This contract opportunity offers flexibility, allowing you to tailor your schedule with part-time or full-time hours ranging from 15 to 40 per week, 2-5 days per week, starting November 19, 2025, through May 22, 2026.
Ideal candidates will bring expertise in speech-language pathology (SLP), with experience or credentials in SLP-CCC, SLP-Healthcare, SLP-Pediatrics, and SLP-CFY. You’ll serve a diverse student population, providing intervention and assessment, collaborating with school staff, and contributing to IEP development—all while championing a positive school culture.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency with office productivity and educational technology
- Ability to establish relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Manage priorities, multitask, and work effectively both independently and collaboratively
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Deep understanding of Colorado Academic Standards, relevant educational programming, and positive behavior management strategies
- Demonstrates compassion, reliability, adaptability, and exceptional organizational skills
- Knowledge of specialized instruction, data privacy, and diverse student developmental needs
- Proven commitment to ongoing professional learning
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language assessments and provide direct therapy for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
