School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Deltona, Florida
Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication and learning by providing dedicated speech-language therapy services for the 2026–2027 school year. This rewarding opportunity welcomes experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLP-CCCs) to serve K-12 learners across one or two schools, working collaboratively in a dynamic educational environment.
Available roles provide both full-time (35 hours/week) and part-time (approximately 20 hours/week) options, with assignments based at Teague Middle, the Educational Support Center, and a split position between Teague Middle and Indian Trails. Each placement offers a chance to build relationships with students and staff, address a variety of communication challenges, and contribute to student growth through personalized interventions.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida State License for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a closely related field
- Experience supporting K-12 students in schools preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Readiness for timely credentialing and prescreen interviews, as requested
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support educational access
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services within one or two assigned schools
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings and progress reporting
- Adhere to ethical, state, and district compliance standards
