Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Sanford, FL

The role includes placements at Teague Middle, the Educational Support Center (serving a K-12 caseload), or a shared assignment between Teague Middle and Indian Trails. Your contribution will span a diverse student population, allowing you to apply your clinical skills within supportive educational settings.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Florida State License in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) from ASHA
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or equivalent
- School-based experience and comfort working with K-12 caseloads is highly desirable
- Ability to adapt to split assignments across campuses (as applicable)
- Timely completion of all credentialing requirements
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students in K-12
- Design and implement IEP-driven interventions and treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress
- Maintain detailed session documentation and progress reports
- Consult on assistive technology and classroom modifications as needed
- Participate in eligibility and team meetings
