Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Delray Beach, FL
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) working across various school locations in Palm Beach County. This opportunity offers the chance to engage with different age groups and caseloads, as you'll be matched to assignments based on your skills and preferences. Full-time, contract positions begin August 10th, 2026, with placements running through the end of different maternity leaves.
As an on-site provider, you’ll work closely with school teams to assess, counsel, and support students’ communication needs—ensuring each child receives personalized interventions and care. Whether your expertise is with PreK, middle, high school, ASD, DHH, or homebound students, there are multiple opportunities countywide to fit your experience and interests.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Florida SLP License from the Department of Health
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Flexibility and willingness to serve at multiple sites as needed
- Comfortable with full-time (35 hours/week), onsite-only assignments
- Strong commitment to collaboration and student success
- Ability to complete fingerprinting and credentialing (including AHCA Clearinghouse verification) promptly
What you’ll do:
- Deliver direct therapy, assessments, and progress monitoring for a diverse student population
- Collaborate with educators and families by developing and updating IEPs
- Serve as an advocate and resource for communication-related student needs
- Adapt interventions to best support student learning across multiple locations
Assignments range from elementary to high school settings, with varying caseloads and students, including regular, ASD, DHH, and homebound assignments. Once you pass an internal video interview, onboarding begins promptly to ensure a smooth transition to your assigned sites.
