School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Deland, Florida

Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for multiple contract assignments, including both full-time and part-time positions with start dates beginning August 4th, 2026, through May 28th, 2027. These roles offer the chance to work in a variety of educational settings, from elementary to high school, providing services that make a difference in students’ academic and social lives.
Both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply; supervision and mentoring are available to support your professional growth. Please note, these opportunities are exclusively for onsite SLPs—SLPAs and virtual candidates cannot be considered at this time.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a CF with supervision
- Previous school-based experience is highly valued, though new graduates with strong clinical training are welcome
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered services
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to determine students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services within the school setting
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliance with documentation and district/IEP timelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
Openings include both full-time and part-time schedules across elementary, middle, and high schools in Volusia County. Assignments include coverage for maternity leave as well as traditional school-year positions.
