Join an educational setting in Decatur, GA, as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) serving Pre K through 12th-grade students. Position Highlights:
SLP – Compensatory Services (Travel Required)
- Provide onsite speech therapy across multiple locations with travel between schools
- Focus on fulfilling compensatory service needs until completion of assigned caseload
- Manage a caseload spanning all grade levels, Pre K through 12th grade
- Summer service commitment from June 1 through June 30
SLP – Elementary School-Based
- Work onsite at one school serving students Pre K to 6th grade
- Caseload of approximately 45 to 55 students
- Utilize the Paddynet platform to document services accurately
Additional Intermediate Roles:
- Three SLPs dedicated to elementary students (Pre K to 5th grade) with similar caseload and responsibilities
- Two SLPs supporting middle school students (6th to 8th grade) with single-site assignment
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain thorough documentation including evaluations, IEPs, eligibilities, and data reviews in Paddynet
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, school staff, and administration through email, phone, progress reports, and school communication systems
- Coordinate schedules, IEP meetings, and parent conferences using Google Calendar
Preferred Experience:
- Comfortable with digital documentation platforms and coordination tools
- Proven ability to manage caseloads with strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience supporting diverse student populations across multiple grade levels
