**Speech-Language Pathologist | Full-Time | Cotaco & Priceville, AL**
A great school district in the Cotaco/Priceville, Alabama area is now looking to hire two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026–2027 school year. These are full-time, school-based contract positions running from August 12, 2026 through May 27, 2027.
Both positions will primarily support students at Cotaco School, serving a Pre-K through 8th grade population. One SLP will remain full-time at Cotaco School, while the second SLP will primarily work at Cotaco and travel approximately 15 minutes to support a smaller number of students at Priceville Jr. High School and Priceville High School.
The estimated caseload is approximately 55 students for each SLP. The district is ready to review candidates, so please apply today for immediate consideration!
𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
· Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and direct therapy services for students.
· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
· Provide individual, small-group, and consultative speech-language services.
· Support students with articulation, language, communication, AAC, and other related speech-language needs.
· Work with both general education students receiving pull-out articulation services and students in self-contained classrooms with more complex communication needs.
· Develop appropriate IEP goals and monitor student progress.
· Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with members of the educational team.
· Maintain accurate therapy documentation, progress reports, and student records.
· Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and other school-based professionals.
𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:
· Previous school-based or pediatric Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred.
· Experience working with Pre-K through high school students is preferred.
· Experience supporting students in self-contained classrooms is a plus.
· Experience working with articulation, language, AAC, and complex communication needs
