Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential required
- Licensure as required for SLP practice in Michigan
- Experience with school-aged or young adult populations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students aged 12–26
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
- Create engaging therapy sessions tailored to diverse needs within a center-based population
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development
- Provide guidance for assistive technology when applicable
