Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in school settings is highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Dedication to fostering growth and developmental progress in students
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Provide direct therapy services and document progress in accordance with district and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and recommendations to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and stay current with best practices in the field
