Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current Michigan license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience working in school-based settings is strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing K-12 caseloads, adapting approaches for a wide range of student ages and needs
- Prepared to provide all services onsite (virtual/remote work is not available for this role)
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for student success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based assessment, intervention, and therapy services to K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress and achievement
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and track students’ therapeutic goals
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding student progress and needs
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and team conferences
