School Speech Language Pathologist - De Pere, Wisconsin
Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an engaging and collaborative school-based setting for the upcoming academic year. Working with a manageable caseload of 38-40, you'll provide onsite services to elementary, middle, and high school students, making a meaningful impact across multiple grade levels.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- State licensure for practice and Department of Public Instruction (DPI) certification required (or eligibility)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to support each student’s academic success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation, progress reports, and IEP updates
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies for students across a range of ages and abilities
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to assessments and planning
- Educate and guide staff and families regarding student needs and progress
