During this assignment, you’ll build your professional expertise by collaborating with a variety of educational professionals and supporting K-2 students both in self-contained classrooms and via pull-out services—offering you a broad spectrum of practice and the chance to add valuable new experiences to your résumé. In your downtime, explore local landmarks, parks, and city attractions, creating lifelong memories outside of work.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous pediatric and/or school-based SLP experience highly preferred
  • Flexibility and adaptability for varied caseloads and working environments
  • Compassion, excellent communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide maternity leave coverage from August 24th to November 18th
  • Deliver full-time SLP services to K-2 students
  • Work 3 days/week in a self-contained classroom setting
  • Provide 2 days/week of pull-out speech therapy services
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP processes
