School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Dallas, Georgia
Make a real difference in the lives of young learners as a full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist working in an elementary school setting. This is a contract position near Dallas, GA, supporting students’ communication needs and collaborating closely with educators and families to help every child thrive.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility) and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome.
- Previous experience or strong interest in working within a school environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Compassion, creativity, and a passion for student-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized, and group therapy services to elementary students with speech, language, and communication needs.
- Conduct speech and language assessments; develop, implement, and track progress on IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student success and provide classroom strategies.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in line with federal, state, and school district guidelines.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment.
- Support students with diverse backgrounds and varying abilities, tailoring interventions accordingly.
