Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Dallas, GA
Step into a dynamic school-based role supporting middle and high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Dallas, GA! Your assignment will be based at a single school site, addressing a caseload ranging from 45-55 students as final arrangements are made. You’ll be a vital resource for students, providing direct therapy, consulting with staff, and participating in individualized education planning. This on-site position requires full-time hours, making it ideal for SLPs with a passion for school-based practice.
What you’ll bring:
- Active CCC-SLP certification (SLPA credentials not accepted)
- Current Georgia PSC certification (recent update—required)
- Valid professional SLP license issued by the State of Georgia
- Up-to-date ASHA credentials
- Recent fingerprint clearance and drug screening (time-sensitive documentation)
- Experience supporting middle and/or high school populations preferred
- Skill in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
- Comfortable working on one campus, adapting as caseload specifics are determined
Your key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and deliver speech/language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEP goals
- Engage in ongoing communication with teachers, support staff, and parents
- Document progress and participate in school meetings as required
- Provide education and support to school staff regarding speech/language issues
