Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Georgia SLP license required
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Experience working with K-12 students recommended
- Strong clinical, collaboration, and communication skills
- Understanding of IEP development and documentation
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in a school-based environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to inform the development of IEPs
- Document progress, maintain records, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings, consult with teachers and parents, and recommend evidence-based interventions
- Develop individualized treatment plans to support students’ communication and academic outcomes
- Offer support and resources to educators and families to promote generalization of skills
