Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP certification (ASHA) required
- Valid and active GA PSC professional license
- Up-to-date state licensure
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain all credentialing documents, including fingerprint clearance and drug screening
- Passion for working with elementary and middle school-aged children
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
- SLPAs are not eligible for this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students at an elementary/middle school campus
- Assess, diagnose, and develop intervention plans tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Complete required documentation, progress reports, and IEPs within established timelines
- Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities
- Support transitions as caseload sizes and specific assignments are finalized
