This full-time opportunity runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, covering both elementary and high school age groups. You'll enjoy a set schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, working with a diverse caseload of 45-50 students, providing assessment, intervention, and collaboration services.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- Current (or eligible for) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in school-based settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Dedication to supporting students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for students in elementary and high school settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct therapy and group sessions according to student needs and IEP goals
- Monitor progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families, providing strategies and resources to support student achievement
- Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal requirements
