Your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist—whether you hold SLP-CCC credentials or are pursuing your CFY—will be invaluable in supporting students’ academic success and personal development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY considered
- Experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of 45-50 students with diverse needs
- Passion for empowering students to achieve their communication goals
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct therapy to students individually and in groups
- Track progress and maintain thorough, timely documentation
- Support student participation in both academic and social settings
- Attend staff meetings and participate in IEP team reviews as needed
