Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working with school-age children, ideally in a PreK-5th grade setting
- Strong understanding of school-based therapy, IEPs, and progress monitoring
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to PreK-5th grade students
- Perform assessments, write evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school guidelines
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ communication goals within the classroom
- Participate in team meetings, staffing, and school-based activities as needed
