School Speech Language Pathologist - Creswell, OR

You'll split your time between two school sites, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will make a meaningful difference for approximately 33 students participating in life skills programming. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with feeding and swallowing (safe eating), as well as proficiency with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and strategies.
You’ll play an integral role supporting both elementary and high school students, partnering with special education professionals, paraprofessionals, and assistants. High schoolers may present with behavioral challenges, but you’ll have plenty of on-site support and access to an established SLP team, offering both virtual and monthly in-person collaboration.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP-CCC credential required
- Prior experience in educational settings, ideally including safe feeding and AAC
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to varying student behaviors and learning needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, feeding, or communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to best support each student’s needs
- Maintain thorough records and participate in meetings as required
- Balance caseloads and responsibilities across two campuses
