You’ll work full-time throughout the school year, based exclusively on-site at a single campus for consistency and connection with your students and colleagues. Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Florida DOH Provisional SLP license
- Strong preference for prior school-based SLP experience
- Able to complete Florida fingerprinting requirements, with status review via the AHCA Clearinghouse if previously completed for a district
- Ready to work on-site; this position is not open to virtual work
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students assigned at either Northwood Elementary or Southside (PreK) in Crestview
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and support staff
- Conduct evaluations and reassessments as needed, documenting student progress thoroughly
- Engage actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adjust caseload interventions to support the unique needs and goals of each student
