What You'll Bring:
- Valid eligibility or current possession of RIDE PK-12 Speech-Language Pathologist Certification
- ASHA CCC-SLP credential required
- Strong experience in school-based settings (PK–12 experience is a plus)
- Comfort with diverse, multicultural student populations—over half of students are from multilingual households
- Proficiency in direct therapy, student assessment, and AAC/assistive technology management
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and families, including advising on classroom strategies
- Flexibility to work with fluid caseloads due to current staffing needs
- Bilingual skills or early childhood experience a plus, but not mandatory
Key Duties:
- Provide direct therapy to approximately 60 students (caseload may vary)
- Complete assessments and progress reporting requirements
- Set up, utilize, and troubleshoot AAC/assistive tech tools
- Advise parents and collaborate closely with teachers on students' IEPs and learning goals
- Select from standard mixed, early childhood/preschool, or bilingual caseloads
