Key Qualifications:
- Active Rhode Island SLP licensure required
- CCC-SLP highly desired; CFY applicants warmly considered
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech therapy settings
- Knowledge of providing services across the K-12 spectrum
- Familiarity with clinical documentation and student goal planning
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver both direct and consultative therapy for a diverse K-12 caseload
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in accordance with school and federal guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and progress reviews
- Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions and adjust strategies as needed for best student outcomes
- Educate and support families and school personnel regarding speech-language development and interventions
