This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within an elementary school setting through the Flint Hills Special Education Cooperative, serving multiple school districts in Kansas. The position is contract-based for the 2025-2026 school year, offering flexibility for full-time or part-time candidates.
Locations Covered:
- Emporia SD
- North Lyon County
- South Lyon County
- Chase County
- Madison
- Hamilton
- Morris County
Candidates should reside within about an hour’s commute to these areas. The role is onsite and involves working directly with students ranging from one day with approximately 10-12 students to a full week serving 50-55 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress
- Support student communication goals within classroom and therapy settings
Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist license (KS SLP License)
- Experience with school-based speech-language pathology preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work either full-time or part-time hours on-site
