Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting students within dedicated life skills programs throughout the academic year, from August 31, 2026, through June 17, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong clinical background in feeding and swallowing safety (safe eating) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
- Team-oriented and adaptable to support multiple sites
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services for students in life skills programming across up to three sites
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of communication needs
- Implement evidence-based interventions for feeding/swallowing and AAC
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy within students’ educational plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Contribute to a positive school culture that celebrates each student’s progress
