A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Minneapolis, MN, beginning October 30th for the school year. This role involves providing support to students at an elementary school setting, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The caseload will be determined based on student needs, allowing for a flexible and manageable workload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services tailored to the individual needs of students
  • Collaborate with educators and other school professionals to develop and implement effective intervention plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing and federal regulations guiding speech-language pathology services in schools

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Minnesota School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
  • Experience working as an SLP in a school environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with children and educational staff
  • Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting student communication development
