Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or pending SLP license for the state (NM)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with young children (18 months–6 years) preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and fellow professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and deliver therapy to children ages 18 months to 6 years
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, documenting progress and maintaining compliance
- Consult with educators and families regarding strategies to support students’ speech and language development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that nurtures student growth and confidence
