Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license for practice as required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience or strong interest in school-based SLP roles
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for young children
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to an assigned kindergarten student
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans targeting language, articulation, and communication skills
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate therapy goals
- Participate in IEP meetings as required, delivering progress updates and recommendations
- Maintain accurate therapy records and reports on student progress
- Educate and coach parents on ways to reinforce strategies at home
