Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Prior experience working with K-12 populations in a school environment (preferred)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to tailor therapeutic approaches to individual student needs
- Competent in documentation and progress monitoring tools relevant to educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to provide strategies that foster students’ academic and social growth
- Maintain accurate records, document student progress, and report regularly on outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development sessions, and other school functions as needed
- Offer consultation and resources for classroom accommodations and modifications
