Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • Prior experience working with K-12 populations in a school environment (preferred)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to tailor therapeutic approaches to individual student needs
  • Competent in documentation and progress monitoring tools relevant to educational settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through twelfth grade
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to provide strategies that foster students’ academic and social growth
  • Maintain accurate records, document student progress, and report regularly on outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff development sessions, and other school functions as needed
  • Offer consultation and resources for classroom accommodations and modifications
