Exciting opportunity available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist interested in making a difference in the educational setting! This contract role offers the flexibility to choose between part-time or full-time hours to best suit your schedule, with assignments beginning in February and continuing through the end of the school year. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina
- Ability to begin work in early February and commit through the school year
- Experience or clinical fellowship in school settings welcomed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for supporting student growth and educational outcomes
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy to students with speech-language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families
- Maintain thorough records to document student progress and meet all compliance requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, special education professionals, and counseling staff to support holistic student development
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school team discussions
- Adapt strategies and materials to meet diverse student needs
Whether seeking part-time (covering one school, approximately 15 hours/week) or full-time (up to 37.5 hours/week) work, you’ll gain valuable experience and contribute meaningfully to the school community. Those with a Clinical Fellowship and prior school-based experience will be considered.
