Position Overview
The Widefield School District 03 is seeking qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time positions for the 2026–2027 school year. This role involves providing high-quality speech and language services to students within a collaborative school-based environment.
Caseload age groups and exact school site assignments will be discussed during the interview process to ensure the best fit for both the clinician and district needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and pragmatic communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
- Conduct evaluations, complete assessment reports, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, psychologists, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district special education guidelines and timelines
- Utilize evidence-based therapy strategies to support student communication and academic success
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- CF candidates will not be considered for this position
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
