Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Colmesneil, TX
Step into a rewarding school-based position where you’ll deliver direct speech-language therapy to a vibrant group of 3rd to 5th grade students. Located in a welcoming educational setting near Colmesneil, TX, this contract assignment runs from ASAP through May 27, 2027. Enjoy a focused schedule, working just two mornings per week, with your preference between Tuesday and Thursday—directors are happy to accommodate your days, as long as you’re available from 8:00 am to 12:15 pm. What you’ll bring:
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Proven background working with school-aged populations, particularly grades 3–5
- Familiarity using evidence-based practices for direct therapy
- Experience managing small caseloads and delivering individualized support
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Enthusiasm for making a positive difference in students’ educational journeys
- Comfort working onsite or providing teletherapy (flexibility is available)
In this role, you will:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 30 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to foster student growth
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and update goals as needed
- Manage your time efficiently with a consistent morning schedule
- Contribute to IEP teams as needed and help create a supportive learning environment
