Speech Therapist in West Chester, PA
Step into a rewarding opportunity as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting middle school students through meaningful, one-on-one and group interventions. This contract role allows you to make a real impact within the current school year, with the unique chance to continue into the Extended School Year program. You’ll be working with a manageable caseload of approximately 26 students in grades 5-8, all within a lower-needs population where your primary focus will be on speech and language support—no ASD caseload.
Scheduled for two days per week (16 hours), this position offers the opportunity to foster communication skills and empower students’ success. After the regular school year ends on June 12, 2026, you may continue to the ESY program, working one to two days per week from June 29 to July 16, 2026 (8:30 am to 2:30 pm).
Preferred qualifications and skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP – CCC credential
- School-based experience (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop creative and individualized therapy plans for middle-school students
Core responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and developing/implementing IEP goals
- Providing direct therapy and monitoring student progress
- Collaborating with teachers and families
- Documenting treatment sessions and maintaining compliance
Compensation for this part-time role ranges from $45–$55 per hour, depending on experience level, alongside highly competitive benefits and weekly pay.
