Speech Pathology - Greenwood, SC
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students with communication needs. This position begins as soon as possible and is designed with flexibility in mind—work three days a week, with your choice of which days, and enjoy a consistent 7.5-hour shift each day. You’ll be working with a diverse elementary caseload, including students with language-based disorders, speech needs, and those on the autism spectrum.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active CCC-SLP credential
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with IEPs and goal-setting for students
- Comfort working with elementary-aged children across a spectrum of abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services for students
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans for language, speech, and social communication goals
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Complete evaluations, documentation, and progress monitoring in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
