Position Overview
We are seeking two passionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school-based team for the 2026–2027 academic year. These full-time positions will support PreK and/or elementary-aged students, providing comprehensive speech and language services that help students reach their academic, social, and communication goals.
The ideal candidates will possess strong clinical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to supporting student success within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate service documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary team members
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute recommendations regarding communication goals and services
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic communication needs
- Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and district regulations
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure
- Ohio Department of Education credential/licensure required for school-based practice or ability to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered pending district approval
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- School-based experience preferred but not required
