Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP licensure (GA) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience serving pediatric or K-12 populations preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills across speech and language areas
- Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team, families, and school staff
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine eligibility and track progress
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer guidance and support to teachers for classroom-based strategies
