Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Clarkesville, Georgia

Make a meaningful impact supporting students across a diverse K-12 population for the 2020-2021 school year. This contract opportunity is tailored for Speech-Language Pathologists excited to work in school-based settings, offering both in-person and teletherapy options. With two full-time openings available, you can indicate your preference for caseload to match your area of strength or interest.
Whether you hold your ASHA CCCs or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year, you’ll be welcomed into a collaborative and supportive environment. This assignment runs from August to May, giving you the chance to see your students’ growth and progress throughout the academic year.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid Georgia licensure (or eligibility)
- ASHA CCC strongly preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in schools, pediatrics, healthcare, or teletherapy a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Willingness to work with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver direct therapy services for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support individual education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough records and documentation according to school and district standards
- Provide teletherapy services as needed to ensure continuity of care
- Consult with educational teams to facilitate student success in communication
- Support student progress through consistent intervention and ongoing monitoring
Offering attractive rates of $66 per hour for SLPs with ASHA CCCs and $64 per hour for Clinical Fellows.
