Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC required
- Previous experience as a school-based SLP (preferred)
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaborative abilities
- Ability to work efficiently with a diverse student population
- Eligible for licensure as an SLP in Alaska (or willingness to obtain)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students in small group and one-on-one formats
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer guidance to teachers and families to support language development initiatives
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere
