Ideal Candidate Should Have:
- Valid state credentials for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY
- Pediatric experience or interest in school-based SLP
- Skills in healthcare/therapy environments, including teletherapy
- Comfortable working with caseload or workload models
- Ability to adapt to different IEP systems (training provided)
- Desire to travel between schools/buildings (itinerant role)
- Strong collaboration, communication, and flexibility
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and deliver therapy to students
- Collaborate with educational teams to craft and implement IEPs
- Utilize both in-person and virtual therapy platforms
- Document and report student progress
- Participate in team meetings and integrate feedback
- Provide or receive supervision as required by credentials
