Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Cicero, Illinois

Ideal candidates will have:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- New graduates seeking Clinical Fellowship (CFY) are welcome
- Previous experience with pediatric populations and school-based settings preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability in supporting diverse learners
In this role, you will:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of school-aged children
- Document progress and maintain required records in compliance with school and state standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ success
- Offer resources and training to educators and caregivers to reinforce goals
