This contract position offers the chance to work full-time (35-37.5 hours per week), delivering speech-language pathology services to diverse caseloads. The assignment spans from August 2026 through June 2027 and includes direct and consultative responsibilities.
Bring your SLP expertise to a collaborative educational team, working with students at multiple sites:
- Nettle Creek: general education, serving 5 students
- River’s Edge Academy: Emotional/Behavioral Disorders, supporting 15 students
- Saratoga Autism program: addressing the needs of 12 students, plus 3 consult cases
- Transition Learning Center: engaging with 5 students and providing consults for 6 additional individuals

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Illinois state licensure, or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment start
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and deliver therapy for students with a range of needs
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families
- Provide both direct and consultative SLP services as assigned
- Maintain accurate case notes, progress reports, and compliance with district policies
