Speech Language Pathologist in Cicero, IL

Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Illinois
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate School Support Personnel Endorsement (previously PSC credential)
- Experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, families, and fellow specialists
- Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for a diverse student population (K-12)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating with staff and families
- Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, progress notes, and services
- Adapt methods and materials to meet each student's unique needs
- Provide consultation and support to classroom teachers regarding communication strategies
- Caseload details will be finalized upon assignment, with supportive resources available
