Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a valid IL Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Possess a current SLP-CCC credential
- PSC (Professional Educator License with School Support Personnel Endorsement) certification is required
- Experience with school-aged children, K-12, is highly desirable
- Able to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary educational team
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Expectations and Role Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload (student number may vary)
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with district policies
- Offer support and guidance to teachers and families regarding students’ needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress reviews
