Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise 3 Speech-Language Assistants (SLAs)
- Serve a caseload of approximately 150 students from PreK-12th grade
- Implement individualized and group therapy within school hours: 7:30 am–3:00 pm, 37.5 hours per week
- Manage a mixed caseload, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and other communication needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and communicate effectively with staff and families throughout the assignment (August 10, 2026–May 28, 2027)
- Provide supportive leadership within the speech department
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license for Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Ability to supervise and mentor SLAs
- Excellent organizational, communication, and team leadership abilities
