Overview
Chicago Ridge School District is seeking a dedicated Speech‑Language Pathologist to provide high‑quality services during an upcoming FMLA leave period. This temporary role supports students with communication needs across elementary and/or middle school settings, ensuring continuity of services and compliance with all state and federal guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Provide therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs
Conduct evaluations and complete required documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, case managers, and families
Maintain accurate records and meet all timelines
Support a positive, inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement
ASHA CCC‑SLP preferred; CFY considered
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Competitive temporary placement rate
Compensation for this position ranges from $41.40 to $61.40. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
