Do you have a passion for helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in the classroom and daily life? We are seeking a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and support K–12 students throughout the school year.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Illinois OT licensure (or eligibility)
  • Experience working with children (school-based experience preferred)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and special education regulations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Provide direct therapy services focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional school participation
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create classroom accommodations
  • Track student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help set meaningful goals
  • Provide guidance and resources for parents and caregivers

Compensation for this position ranges from $41.40 to $61.40. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
