Location: Chicago, IL
Pay: $2,000–$2,300+ per week
Hours: Full-time, 37.5–40 hours/week
Assignment: 2026–2027 School Year
About the Role
ProCare Therapy is partnering with school districts in Chicago to hire a School Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment. This is an exciting opportunity to support K–12 students in a high-need urban district while gaining valuable multi-setting school experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
• Conduct evaluations and assessments as part of the IEP process
• Develop and implement IEP goals; track and document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams
• Maintain accurate documentation per district and state standards
Caseload Details
• Setting: Elementary and Middle School
• Caseload size: 45–60 students (approximate)
• Focus areas: articulation, language delays, AAC support
• Number of schools: 1–2 buildings
Qualifications
• Active Illinois SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
• School-based experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
• Weekly pay: $2,000–$2,300+ depending on experience
