Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech and Communication Disorders
- Current Illinois SLP-CCC license
- Strong background in school-based speech therapy, pediatrics, and healthcare
- Open to both experienced SLPs and candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with teachers, families, and administrators
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver therapy to students identified on your caseload
- Provide intervention for articulation, receptive and expressive language, voice, fluency, and social communication
- Keep timely and accurate progress documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student growth
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Foster an encouraging learning environment for all students
